Parasites

Both cats and dogs are at risk for contracting intestinal parasites. Pets and humans contract most intestinal parasites through ingesting contaminated particles. To protect pets and their families, the Center of Disease Control (CDC) recommends testing pet stool samples at least once yearly as well as deworming them four times a year. More information about parasites are available from the CDC.
